BEHIND THE SCANNER

What the numbers mean.

Live analysis of monitored X and Instagram posts. This is a selected, weighted conversation—not a representative global poll. Source availability and relevance filtering affect the sample.

Sentiment · 24 hours
Relevant posts are weighted by capped logarithmic follower reach, recency (a six-hour half-life), and an author repetition discount. The mean maps onto a 0–100 index: critical to supportive. It is not a percentage of people.
Narratives · 1 hour
Each post contributes to its assigned narrative, weighted by reach and the author repetition discount. No recency decay applies inside this hour. Narrative share and sentiment are separate summaries; topic labels do not determine stance.
Tiles and presentation
Conversation-tile area indicates the author's follower-reach tier: under 10k, 10k–250k, and 250k+. Image frames have a fixed size. The first pill shows stance. Topic badges travel on the text and image tiles; an image topic describes the picture and caption together. Image tiles appear only after a completed vision read. Both tiles link to the same original post, and do not count as two votes. Each visible post follows one presentation clock through intake, decision and tile. Classification has already completed before the browser receives it. Animation time is not model latency, and tile animations do not increment the aggregates.
Keeping up with bursts
The visual queue is bounded so the display stays readable. All qualifying posts still contribute to server aggregates, including posts omitted from the animation. 0 posts were omitted from this session's animation, including the initial backfill.
The reaction avatar
Every five seconds, the composite sentiment of relevant posts classified in that five-second window sets the expression directly. This uses classification-completion times and all received classifications, including posts omitted from the visual queue. Duplicate text and IDs count once per window; follower reach and each author's total influence are capped. The 24-hour sentiment summary below remains independent. Archival photographs rotate within the selected expression, dissolving into characters sampled from their own colors before reforming. A new photograph requires fresh evidence; quiet periods hold still. The photos illustrate monitored sentiment, not Netanyahu's actual emotions or a live camera.

Worker medians cover its retained measurements. Text latency is reported by the Sage response when available; image-path time also includes fetching and preparing media. They are distinct from ingestion delay and the presentation queue.
